Convention Details

The PTNPA Annual Convention is a huge opportunity to meet with industry colleagues and learn the latest trends, news, and insights for our industry. The Annual PTNPA Convention includes networking events, educational and informational presenters and workshops, popular key note speakers, and an exhibit hall filled with industry solutions providers. The Convention is attended by a wide range of Member Companies and represents all facets of our membership.

Hotel Details

Convention 2018 will be held at the InterContinental Miami, which sits on the shores of Biscayne Bay as an icon of the Downtown Miami skyline. The 34‐story hotel features newly renovated luxury guest rooms, with contemporary chic designs incorporating modern amenities. Onsite restaurants include the dining destination Toro Toro, and the private Chef's Table, Table 40. The hotel's rooftop pool presents an enticing view of the surrounding Biscayne Bay and is adjacent to the luxurious spa and fitness club.

Registration Details & Pricing

  • PTNPA Individual Member: $1,350
  • PTNPA Member Guest/Spouse: $550 (spouse/guest does NOT include a colleague or other company representative)
  • PTNPA Registration after January 5th is $1,750/person, with no discounts available.

Discounts: The rates above will be reduced by $100 for early registrations made by November 3rd. In addition, another $100 discount may be applied if multiple representatives from the same company are attending.

Cancellation Note: Convention registration cancellations made on or before November 30th are refundable up to 50% with written notice to the PTNPA. Cancellations made on or after December 1st will receive no refund.

Event Insurance: New this year, PTNPA Members have the option of purchasing Event Insurance through a 3rd party when registering to attend Convention 2018. Similar to Travel Insurance, Event Insurance can reimburse registration fees and other costs if attendees are unable to attend the event for one of the 24 covered reasons, like a covered medical emergency. NOTE: These reasons are mandated by the Allianz Event Ticket Protection product. PTNPA does not have the ability to add/remove any of the covered reasons and is not in any way affiliated with Allianz Global Assistance.

  • Limited parking opportunities available. Please note, given the close proximity of the hotel to restaurants and other area attractions, car rental is not necessary or recommended.

Mystery Basket Cooking Challenge
Saturday at 12pm
$130/ea, limited to 30 attendees

PTNPA is excited to offer this Team Building Cooking Challenge. Guests are divided into teams and each team will receive ingredients to create unique dishes with the guidance of the InterContinental's Executive Chef. Once the teams have completed their dishes, they will each have an opportunity to show off their dishes to the judges, who ultimately select a winner.

Annual Golf Tournament

Join the fun during a Convention favorite! Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne is a championship 18-hole golf course located on the island paradise of Key Biscayne, just 10 minutes from downtown Miami. The course provides breathtaking views of the barrier island enveloped by the tropics. Surrounded by water, mangrove forests and lush tropical foliage, Crandon Golf is an explosion of color and light.

Annual Tennis Tournament

Play where the pros play! Crandon Park Tennis Center is home of the Sony Open, with a total of 26 courts, including 2 grass, 2 red clay, 4 green clay, and 18 hard courts! 11 hard courts and 2 clay courts have lights. Racquet rentals and tennis balls available in the pro shop.

Annual Charity Nut Run
Saturday, Warms-ups at 8:30am, Run begins at 9am
$75/ea, includes t-shirt, refreshments and support of a generous contribution to a non-profit organization

Enjoy the fun and camaraderie of a 5K fun Run/Walk! Incorporating the Green Riverway surrounding Intercontinental Miami. The event includes an energizing and informative warm-up that will have everyone ready for the big event. As the participants get ready, the sound of the starting gun will signal the beginning of the 5K fun Run/Walk! As the runners/walkers cross the finish line, their time will be recorded and all of the results will be noted.
