DINNER OUTING AT VINES RESTAURANT
Friday, January 17, Shuttle leaves at 7pm
$135/ea, includes cocktail reception, dinner & transportation

Enjoy dinner in an intimate setting at the beautiful restaurant, Vines, with fellow PTNPA Members. Vines is one of Orlando's top local restaurants and features the areas finest ingredients in an unparalleled dining experience. This is a great opportunity to network with fellow PTNPA members and connect on the first night of the Convention.

 

ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
Saturday, January 18, 7am
$225/ea, includes breakfast

Join the fun during a Convention favorite! The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club places a special emphasis on preserving the area's well-balanced ecosystem, thriving with ponds, wetlands, live oaks, and cypress heads. The course is breathtakingly beautiful and enhanced by rare natural elements. Wide fairways, strategically placed hazards, generous landing areas, and subtly contoured greens provide a challenging but fair test of a golfer's abilities.

 

ANNUAL CHARITY 5K NUT RUN
AND NEW! CHALLENGE OBSTACLE COURSE
Saturday, January 18
Packet pick-up begins at 7am, Warm-ups at 8am, Run begins at 8:30am
$80/ea, includes t-shirt, refreshments and support of a generous contribution to a non-profit

Enjoy the fun and camaraderie of a 5K fun Run/Walk! The scenic 5K will take place around the resort, starting at the resort's beautiful Da Vinci Lawn. The event includes an energizing and informative warm-up that will have everyone ready for the big event. New this year, the run will incorporate optional challenge obstacles along the way. When registering, you will be asked to indicate if you plan to participate in the obstacles so that your time can be differentiated.

 

 

TENNIS WORKSHOP AND TOURNAMENT
Saturday, January 18, 8:30am
$100/ea, breakfast & lunch

Join other members for great fun on the court – including a workshop and drills led by onsite tennis professionals! Following the workshop participants will have the option to participate in a fun round robin style tournament.

 


 

VOLUNTEER: MEAL PACKING CHARITY EVENT TO SUPPORT RISE AGAINST HUNGER
Saturday, January 18, 2pm to 3:30pm
Come by to network for a cause! Sign up for 30-minute increments or stay the whole time – your help is needed and there’s nothing like working together!

Rise Against Hunger is driven by the vision of a world without hunger. Their mission is to end hunger by providing food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable and creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources. As a volunteer at this event, you will help package nutritious meals that will be distributed to partners in countries around the world. The meals are used as a tool to change lives by promoting education, improving students’ health and nutrition, addressing gender inequalities, stimulating economic growth and fighting child labor.

EVERGLADES AIR BOAT TOUR OUTING
Sunday, January 19, 1pm to 4:30pm
$120/ea, bus departs from the Ritz-Carlton main entrance promptly at 1pm

Experience the real wild side of Florida. Come take an exciting air boat ride and see where the largest living estuary in the world starts from a little creek. Seated aboard air boats, passengers will be taken through a nature preserve that’s home to a number of animals and plants that make up the Florida Everglades ecosystem, giving an unobstructed view of the diversity of wildlife and plant life that call the swamp their home. Experienced captains have a knack for being able to spot exciting wildlife that build their homes in the waterways. You will have the opportunity to see alligators, hawks, bald eagles, herons, pelicans, spoonbills, limpkins, snakes, wild pigs, deer, turtles, egrets, and many more species of birds and gorgeous flora. With endangered natural Florida wildlife and beautiful flora all around you, you’ll get up-close and personal as you glide your way across the marsh. So hold on tight and don’t forget your cameras.

 

 

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER TOUR OUTING
Monday, January 20, 12pm to 5pm
$210/ea, bus departs from the Ritz-Carlton main entrance promptly at 12pm

Explore unparalleled space attractions and exhibits at the Kennedy Space Center. Your private bus tour will give you a behind the scenes view of launch pads and pass areas of NASA only seen on TV. You will also see first hand the Apollo Saturn V center which houses one of the most complex vehicles ever built, a 363’ moon rocket, the vehicle assembly building, and the launch control center. Once the bus tour is completed, the group will be dropped off at the Atlantis, home of the last shuttle flown in space. The debris from space and burns still visible to the naked eye. Nothing can prepare you for the reveal of this American icon. You will also have time to visit the Visitor Complex, which is organized into Mission Zones — allowing you to weave your way through the U.S. Space Program in chronological order: Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Shuttle and beyond!
