National Nut Day

OCTOBER 22 IS NATIONAL NUT DAY

Celebrating America's Nut Industry

Throughout the month of October, in celebration of National Nut Day on October 22, PTNPA and our Members promote the nutrition of nuts, highlight the industry's culture of giving and community impact, and dedication to food safety.

  • PTNPA Members will participate in a nut donation drive in October to put into action our community's dedication to community and giving.
  • Members will use the social media toolkit to tout all of the amazing facets of the nut industry.
  • PTNPA will feature the 5th Edition of The Handbook for the Safe Processing of Nuts. The FDA, USDA, and other agencies will receive briefings on the newly updated document. Learn more here.
